kpop business: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Panic! on the Disco is a pop rock/electronica band depending out of Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is created from Brendon Urie (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and his formative years chum, Spencer Smiths (drums), besides their schoolmate, Ryan Ross (guitar, keyboard, backing vocals).

To sell their track, the band made contact with Pete Wentz (of Fall Out Boy) due to his LiveJournal webpage. Impressed through the band, Wentz for my part met with the band and signed them to his imprint label Decaydance. Under the label, the band published their debut album, A Fever You Cant Sweat Out, which would debut at #112 on the Billboard 200 album charts.

Featured in Spin journal as their band of the day in early October 2005, achieving #1 on the MySpace chart, and consistently staying in PureVolumes Top 10 chart, could most effective lend a hand grow the bands reputation. An appearance on MTVs TRL on January 17, 2006, at the kpop business top-rated of their tune video for I Write Sins Not Tragedies, also helped garner the band so much exposure.

To date, the bands 2005 debut album, A Fever you Cant Sweat Out has offered over 750,000 models. The band is these days headlining a North American summer travel with The Dresden Dolls and The Hush Sound, a band additionally signed to Decaydance.
